We recently started working with a paper mill that has a patented process to produce an alternative to synthetic paper and other durable media products.  This is a great alternative to the more expensive synthetics such as Yupo and Tyvek.
This is a lightweight tear resistant laminated paper.  It is made with FSC certified papers.   This provides noticeable durability while providing signification advantages when used in flexo, litho offset, laser, digital, UV and ink jet printing.

                This sheet is the combination of paper on the outside, BOPP (bi-axially orientated Polypropylene) in the middle, and then paper on the outside.  The paper has added Wet strength as well.
